I should make note of that word. It has great potential for abuse.

"Had my dream again where I'm making love, and the Olympic judges are watching. I'd nailed the compulsories, so this is it, the finals. I got a 9.8 from the Canadians, a perfect 10 from the Americans, and my mother, disguised as an East German judge, gave me a 5.6. Must have been the dismount."

I personally think domain squatting is even lower than Nigerian scam e-mails.
A domain name is worth whatever a registrar is charging to register it.
Thanks to dipshits like you, people have taken to registering harder-to-remember domain names because they're not willing to fork out a king's bounty for an easy-to-remember one that someone's sitting on trying to make a profit intentionally.
At least you haven't started squatting on copyrighted names yet... that would be the ultimate low.
For crying out loud, man.

I disagree. There is neither deception nor coercion going on with this sort of thing, as opposed to with a 419. He purchases a commodity (the domain) and hopes to resell it for a higher price.

No, like any commodity, it's worth what people will pay for it.

If they don't want to pay extra for the less obfuscated domain, that's their choice. It's like getting a Kia because you don't want to pay for a Lexus.

I was at this restaurant. The sign said "Breakfast Anytime."
So I ordered French Toast in the Rennaissance.

How about buying a Kia over a Lexus because the Kia's all you can afford?

Welcome to the real world, buddy, sometimes you have to buy ground round instead of filet mignon.

I have a nice long rebuttal to this, but we're in the TESTING FORUM. Sorry. If you want to start this discussion up in TotT or Backroom, by all means.
