So, I installed everything and it all works fine... except for the internet (I'm under XP right now). It connects to the net (Using KPPP), but when I try to load a page, it says that the host does not exist just like if I wasn't connected. The thing is, I HEARD the phone while connecting to the net and the sound was normal, just like if I was connecting in Windows. Any clues ?

Sweet! Another Fedora Core 2 user!

I'm not exactly sure of your problem, though. Have you tried looking up Linux drivers for that specific modem? All the "sound" of a modem tells you is that the correct input has been sent to the modem for it to dial out and connect to your ISP. It doesn't necessarily mean your OS has the correct drivers for that modem. Kinda like how Windows displays a monitor as "generic" until you tell it what you have, then it lets you set the refresh up to its limit. Uhh, yeah... Anyway, try to hit up some Linux forums and see if anybody can help you out, since I haven't dealt with phone-line modems in a looong time.
