very intresting article from a well-known conservative pundit:

http://www.lewrockwell.com/reese/reese74.html

this is the first criticism on bush that i can agree with. it's intelligent, sharp, and free of the heavy liberal vitriol we've been hit with lately. perhaps michael moore and his ilk could learn something from this article: use facts to support your claims, not FUD

People who think of themselves as conservatives will really display their stupidity, as I did in the last election, by voting for Bush. Bush is as far from being a conservative as you can get. Well, he fooled me once, but he won't fool me twice.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee?€”I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee?€”that says, fool me once, shame on?€”shame on you. Fool me?€”you can't get fooled again." ?€”- George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Good article, but I don't see how this is much different than what Micheal Moore says about Bush and Kerry.

It is different because he is a conservative pundit so he has to be right. In todays society and media consolidation, the "liberal" media had painted the following picture.

Liberal = big government, lies, treason, hate, communist, immoral and against religion, and for the elite.

Conservative = patriot, small government, fiscal responsibility and truth, and morality and for the little guy.

So, if a liberal speaks, he is to be ignored as an untruthfal immoral hate filled treasonous slimebag for polygamy, beastiality and big government. If a conservative speaks, his word is as good as Jesus, even when he/she is wrong.

I've thought the same thing about Bush for a long time -- that he's just a talking handpuppet for much more intelligent, insidious, and ambitious people in his administration.

I really think it's time for someone new.

Jesus...someone get this man out of there. It's one thing to not be able to speak well...it's another to not be able to speak well and boast no other talents other than your father's name and be elected president of the most powerful country in the world.

I've had that thought as well when watching him speak before.
