Bushido Blade - pretty fun fighter, quite different from the norm

Wild Arms series. An rpg with a western twist=sweet game.
Oh, and Suikoden I and II if they weren't already listed.

I love that game.

Enemy: "You have dishonored my family, and now - GAAACK!"

(Enemy falls over from a quite fatal blow to the head with a gigantic nodachi.)

Me: ZERG RUSH KEKEKE!

The game always blathered something about honor or some shit halfway through and kicked my ass to the game over curb, but the game is more fun with two players anyhow.

I'll settle for:

FF Anthology
FF Tactics
Breath of Fire 3
and I do like the rest of the FF series (though I don't have 8 yet)

FF 8 was a terrible game. That is like, seriously, the only Final Fantasy I've ever despised.

Dragon Quest VII is a good game, if you can get over the fact it plays like (S)NES RPG. Same goes for Arc the Lad Collection.

Grandia is pretty cool, also.

Yeah, it was like a 100+ hour nes rpg. I liked it, but I can see why a lot of people didn't.

Dude, IX was so much worse. That is the only one that I don't even have a remote desire to finish. I tried playing through it again a while back, played for an hour and said "Screw this, I can just replay Symphony of the Night instead"

Funny, I recall quite enjoying IX, though that was a while ago - there's really little chance I'd make that sort of a time investment in a computer game again anytime soon. They just don't really seem to do much for me anymore.

I didn't know they released FFIX for PC. <img src=smilies/eek13.gif>

Was that the "computer game" reference? Sorry, that's a UK thing - read simply "videogame".

I never actually played the whole retail version (that IS the one with the so-called Draw System isn't it?), so I guess I can't say anything, but after playing the demo I didn't really care about playing the full version at all.

I did initially....the first time I played it....I just ended up MST:3King the damn thing with my friend for the duration, and when we got to the last boss, we gave up b/c it was fucking dumb. I went through again a couple years ago, got to disc 3, and then lost interest....I guess I should finish that so I can say I beat all of the FF games (excluding the hand held versions)....but its just sooooo painful. It was fun for awhile, then the flashbacks just got too fucking annoying, and I quit again....oh well.
