Well, I figured I'd write about this somewhere and share it.
Anyway, back on May 11 I talked to my girlfriend and this is the last I've spoken to her... We met via the Internet (sneer if you will) and I met her back in March of 2001. We began talking in October. I live up in Ohio and she lives down in New Orleans, so we've only seen each other a few days.
Anyway, we really related to each other and had great feelings... Then, after college exams, it all seemed to go to hell for no reason at all. She tells me that she was really depressed about college and her mother was getting on her case and this makes her tell me that she doesn't have any feelings anymore. This was on May 8.
I was upset and tried to convince her that she was only in a slump and that she wasn't thinking clearly. On Saturday, we spoke via telephone and it was the same story. She says she hates hurting me and that I did nothing wrong. Her mother picked up the phone later in the talk and that made her uneasy. I told her that we'd talk the next night (Sunday) and she sounded excited... Alas, she never came back and I'm still in the dark about what the hell is going on.
Her mother called here and said that she (my girl) didn't want to talk to me anymore, though this doesn't make sense to me because how could she go from caring and wanting to talk to this?
So, here we are about two weeks later and no word. I sent her a card a bit ago, but if it meant anything to her, I would have had a reply by now.
So, I'm stuck here without a clue what to do. All I want is to at least be able to speak to her... ::sigh:: I want her to tell me what's going on and to confide in me.
Well, there's where I'll leave this... Still depressed
