Is it possible to run Super Mario Advance 4 (Super Mario Brothers 3) on a GBA flash advance cart? I keep getting an error telling me my save is corrupted and won't start. I've downloaded several saves from the internet and sent them to the flash cart but still nothing happens.
Even if you have no other help than "it worked for me" I'd like to hear it.

I wish I could check it out and tell you. My ex girlfriend had the cartirdge, then it was stolen by the kids of this person she knows and the kids practically own their mom, so... )I'm about to go over there myself and kick someone's ass.

Anyway, I have to wonder if maybe it has 'protection' like the Nes Classic series does, where it checks the cart for SRAM (if it uses EEPROM to save, why would SRAM be there? Oh, must be a flash cart )

it uses flash 512 or something. I tried patching it with srampatch.exe but it said it didn't need patching, but I just read if you patch it with the command 128 (xrom) then it'll work on your card. there's also flash.exe that might work. I haven't actually tried the rom out, but it was kinda tough to get working. and it's just a typical flash save, no actual checks for a flash card.

Thanks, it still says my save is corrupted but it lets me play and save anyway. That's all I needed.
