Damnit! Fallout problem

I was saving my game of fallout last night, when the game crashed. Now whenever I try to load my saved game, it says error loading game. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? I really don't want to start over from scratch unless I have to.

Sounds like your save file got corrupted during the save. You'll more than likely be forced to start over.
