I have a helpful Windows tip for everyone. If you ever need to reformat your hard drive, go into DOS, run FDISK, and erase the current partition.
Make a primary partition of about 4GB, this will be for Windows only, this will become Drive C. Use the rest of your hard drive for other partition(s), it will become Drive D (or some other letter of your choosing). This way if Windows seriously craps out on you, then you won't have to erase everything. This is especially useful for those folks who only received recovery CDs with their computer instead of an actual OS disk.
