Clicking a link in Mozilla Firefox 0.9.1 with the scrollwheel on a mouse opens the link in a new tab. I just found that out by accident. I think it's pretty cool .

Yeah, FireFox has settings and features everywhere. It'd be nice if they flat out listed them for you somewhere (and told you where that list was). I spent an hour or so hacking in URL Alias support (like the one Avant Browser has) only to find out later while importing all my favorites that it has the same feature, just hidden away until you see it while defining a bookmark. Live and learn, I guess.

Same as in opera.
I have it configured so that it opens in a background tab, so I can go on slashdot and click all links to read them when I'm done with the main page.<img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

another cool feature is keyword serch. type afew words in the title bar and it brings up the most likely site.its pretty useful

Ctrl+click does the same, and its good fro those stuck on a crappy compaq presario with a mouse whose wheel is not recognized when clicked. :P
