hey all, I have a GeForce 4 MX 440 SE (128mb of SDRAM) for sale. Has regular VGA, and S-Vid ports. It's a decent little card.

Asking $45 shipped anywhere in the US. Canada will be a little more.

Yeah, I think a money order might be the way to go, as I don't have a Paypal account and even if I did I have no way to pay through it as I lack both a credit card and checking account. Sending a money order might take a little longer, but it'll be easier than using one of my parent's cards to sign up with Paypal and make the payment that way. Or not. What do you think? I'm sure they'd have no problem letting be borrow it to buy something, but I've never used Paypal before and don't completly understand how it works. Any suggestions then as to what I should do?

Yeah, well I got a 64 mb GeForce 3 card in here now and that just won't do for some of the newer games that I'd like to get. When your hardware starts to meet only the recomended settings, it's time for an upgrade. Now, if I could only do something about my processor...

Neither will a GeForce 4 MX, but don't let that stop you...

Geforce 3 > Geforce 4 mx

My brother has a Geforce 4 mx. Very little difference from his old Geforce 2 mx

We'll see. At least it's better than what I got now.

Damn, looks like you guys are right. After checking out the comparisons between my GeForce 3 Ti 200 and the GeForce 4 MX 440 SE, it looks like what I have now really is the better of the two cards. Umm... punjman?

So he's at fault for not buying a card that you incorrectly claimed was decent? Riiiight. <img src=smilies/upeyes.gif>

Nooo, he's at fault for going back on his word.

I don't remember posting anything untrue about this card. The description is dead on with this card. He should have done research BEFORE telling me he was buying. Once he said he was buying, he was buying. So, when he msgs me and says "sorry, dont want it".

That means hes a deadbeat buyer.

Already made a commitment to him, so I couldnt sell it otherwise. Happens on ebay all the time, only I was honest in my description of my item. Now I have to try to resell it, and that doesn't make me happy.

For what it's worth, if I had $45 I'd buy the card so that I could stick this one motherboard I have laying around into a case I have laying around plus a few drives and have a working computer. It's just that in terms of gaming (which is what he clearly mentioned as being his reason for interest in the card), it's hardly better than a GeForce 2 and is not of true GeForce 4 or even GeForce 3 caliber, and as such I felt obligated to inform him of the big picture, that it won't let him play any games any better. Yes, it's not good that it prevented you from selling the card, and for that I'm sorry, but were I in the position of selling something and found that the buyer's interest in the item was generated something that it does not do, I would inform him at once as to the state of affairs.

So, uh... hell, I'm sure someone else will buy it. Ayup.
