View Full Version : Saving those who don't want to be

I knew this crap was gonna happen.
My neighbors (who've been on a 4 week drinking binge since one of us died) have apparently not gotten the message.
One of 'em, the older man, (57), went out to work yesterday. We'll see if he goes today. The other guy (41), is still mooching beer off whoever he can. Then the Gobbler tells me that before that boy went to dry out last time, he left the local hospital with a heart monitor(a Telemetry unit) hooked up. He's supposed to go to court Thursday. It's Grand Theft (those little units go for $ 8000). The Gobbler says the landlady was going to talk to the people at the hospital and work out a payment plan. She's not going to now.
I looked at the Gobbler and said one thing.
"You really can't help someone that doesn't want your help. Going to jail might save his life."
The Gobbler nodded.
Sometimes, there's nothing you can do.

You can Hate it.. you can condem it.. but everybody has to have their own choice of what they do with their lifes..
i mean its allowed to become a PornStar, Actor, Manager, Model. but you would not be allowed to drink yourself to dead?

my vision : as long as you dont hurt others in any phsyical way then do what makes you happy..

this is what the fight of me and Danoz was mostly about..

ps. i do not wish to have another talk about my idea's of life,
so to everybody writing their nasty replies while drooling.. quit it!/wwwthreads/images/icons/mad.gif

The point is you can do what you want as long as you're not making life miserable for at least one other person.
This guy is. But you're right, Vampy, it's his choice. I just don't want to see the train wreck.

Yeah I agree. If you want to make your life miserable. . go for it. . don't do it for someone else. But it still irks me to see someone waste away their lives.

GOD flash! I need to see a movie or read a book about all this shit! Pleeeze! Not only are there amazing plot points and shit but the character development and relationship building rocks!

Cuz like, the gobbler started out as like your arch enemy, and now it seems like you guys are getting more closely aligned for the good fight. This is cool stuff!

oh... it's real life too? damn! trip out!
