Hop over to a command prompt, nav to your CD drive and type the following

dir /s *.* > c:\n4s2.txt

and attach the file to your reply
and I will have a look, and tell you if I see anything that looks obviously like sound data. :)

Also, you might want to download PSound and run it on all the files on the disc.. if you get things that sound like single notes from different instruments, then the music is sequenced, and isn't easily rippable unless someone rips it to PSF (which is quite an arduous process).

Last thing to try.. is to pop the disc in a normal audio CD player and see if there are playable music tracks.

Heh, if you have any other questions about PSX/PS2 music ripping, don't hesitate to ask. <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>

How do I rip the music off of Dynasty Warriors 5: extreme legends? It's a ps2 game. I tried looking for this Psound program mentioned, couldn't find it :(

Wow, talk about threads rising from the grave.

snailrush's site is gone, but you can still download PSound from ZD.

This should be in the sound utilities section... oh well.

Thanks for trying. After fiddling around with it for a bit, I can't seem to get the music files. I tried scanning everything, got zero files. Is there something better to do? I put the disc in, and scanned each file on it. Am I missing something? :( I suck at computers, lol.

Try scanning the disc with Cube Media Player (http://www.cubemediaplayer.com).
