so i decided to put premium in the car, since it does say "premium unleaded gasoline only"...for $1.42/gal.

you actually can feel the difference. when vtec engages at around 4500 rpm, you get thrown back into your seat.

just figured i'd share that.

Yah, it's costin me about $1.55 here in Utahrd. And my baby be premium only as well.

That only really matters with some cars....certainly not all of them.

On a seperate note, one night about 3 or 4 weeks ago, the Exxon I went to was $1.57 for regular, super, and premium...I of course got premium considering that...it was weird. I asked the dude at the counter "All the prices are the same?" and he just laughed.

Yah, premium is nice. I find that when I use premium in my car (86 Camaro) I can run it with more timing, and that gives it a bit more power and fuel mileage
