Just use Getright. It's not freeware, but you don't have to register it.. it never stops working. I've downloaded tons of files using it, and whenever it pops up to tell me "Get right isnt free" i just wait 5 seconds, click OK, and im done with it for another while.

say what? what's the point of having a download manager that doesn't support resumes?

I use an old-school one, called NetVampire. usually when I'm in a leeching mood :) Or when I find free rom sites <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

Get version 3.3 if you can find it, it's the latest one without adware.
