I thought about this before I even got it, but after it I didnt think about it. But now, Im thinking its true. It seems time from time, espically when someones on the phone, my wireless connection magically drops to not working at all. Is this all in my head or is it true?

In one word: YES. I get constantly kicked off my network everytime my neighbor's cordless phone hits my channel/frequency range.

I havn't been able to find a way to stop it either, everything just dies when the cordless phone turns on. Hey, but at least I found a way to stop the microwave from interfering! Just use a lower frequency channel, like 1 or 2 because that's farther away from microwaves on the electromagnetic spectrum.

I can't use the excuse that the microwave made me lag in counter-strike anymore though <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

5ghz wireless equipment both phones OR network are way overpriced...the 900mhz phone route is the cheapest one and it works...it may not have the range the 2.4ghz have but it will be interference-free!

Unless you have a wireless audio transmitter....that was always a good time on college before the 2.4's came out....scanning with the receiver for people's conversations....ah, the good ol days.
