Final Fantasy XII cut scenes

I'm new here, so I hope I have the right section. I am trying to get the cut scenes from my Final Fantasy XII ps2 disc. I already have the 40 FMV video but that is only halve of the story line (mostly ships and cities). I'm trying to get the rest of the movie bits. I was told that I can use my game save to get the parts I'm after. I'm planning to copy them to a ps3, then on a stick to put them on my computer. I think I need a ps2 emilator program to read the saves, but I can't seem to find a working one in english. Please correct me if I'm wrong about using an emulator. I'm trying to learn about hex files, elf files, irx files. I've read that FFXII has a weird configeration, that the movie bits are not where they normally are in other games. If there is a better way to get what I'm after directly off the disc, or if I need something else to make the save file work. I'm open to suggestions. I'm willing to learn, if someone can point me in the right direction.
