Beats working 40 hours a week at Dunkin Donuts for 7.75. Be happy you at least found something, it will be a month this Thursday that I moved to PA and I am still unemployed. Come the 29th of this month, I will unemployed for about four months, the last day I worked was February 27th.

Sounds like you got lucky. I got stuck at McDonald's dealing with angry costomers all day for $6.25 an hour... not exactly a dream job, but it pays the bills.

50 hours a week? Hope you get 10 of overtime.

I've still got my crappy-ass job 9 months after graduation.

Yea, but I have the opposite extreme... I don't really get to talk to anybody except on breaks and other times occationally... Most of it is just pure work.

Yea, you've got me beat on labor and time. Is that honestly work they make you do? Or is it all voluntary? How on Earth did you find the time to post this? :)

As long as you keep searching for a job, there's no reason to feel like a loser.

That's what I want to be, an electrician or something related with electronics. I dunno where I want to work though.

I finished school so now i am an electronic engineering technologist. The jobs just dont seem to be out there. The high paying jobs seem to be for people who have an electricians certification. Industries seem to really want people who know PLCs well. So, in the end, I am probaly going to go for my electricians certification and take some Allen Bradley PLC courses when money comes.

I might be in luck though. I might (the big if statement) be able to get back onto the Nuke plant and make a great wage with full benifits.

IF you want to be an electrician, take a damn good look at PLCs.

Industrial elect. appear to pay more than residential building elec. I think it is because more specialization is required. I think though, if you become an electrician, you can probaly work anywhere you want to in the States. I could be wrong.

Need any QA testers? :) I'm... somewhat content with my job, but I'd probably have no trouble uprooting myself for more money.

That's almost exactly what I do here. I completely fit the bill except for the college degree. :| ...and that my testing extends to hardware as well as software, but I have 3 or so years experience with both.
Could you drop me a privmsg with salary info ... and oh yeah, where you're located?
Thanks.<img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>
