I'm developing a fan game with a retro feel. I can either get ogg files for every song, or use NSF files. I'd rather use NSF files to reduce the download size, so I got an extension for Game Maker that allows use of WinAmp plugins. I went through a few before I was finally happy with NESPlug, but there's just one problem: I don't really have that much control over WHAT to play.
I've tried NotSoFatso and while I could pick any song I wanted, I had to do it by a pop-up while the game was running (which isn't really useful), so I wondered if there was a way to split an NSF into smaller NSFs that all had one song each.
I've searched Google and found nothing, and while there is a (very, very old) topic somewhere in these forums about splitting NSFs, I don't feel that it helped me all that much.
So... how do I do that sort of thing? :help:
