I just found out that I got chosen for a creative certificate at my university. I'm ecstatic. It's an extremely selective program - last year they accepted two people out of a hundred, two years ago they didn't take anyone at all. What this means is that I get to write a creative thesis. Every senior must write a thesis which corresponds to their department - a year-long project, usually between 100 and 200 pages. As a regular english major, I would have written an analytic thesis. As a creative writing major, I basically get to write my own book of poetry. And this is definitely not a guarantee, but the number of creative theses that are selected for publishing is very high. I am so excited for next year now, I'm practically incoherent

Really, congratulations! I'm also into creative writing (taking a course next semester)... and since you're into poetry, that's just really, really cool... do you have a site with your poetry on it?

Awesome . The creative writing classes I've taken here have been the best part of my education. It's amazing to work with Toni Morrison and Paul Muldoon and Joyce Carol Oates, but it's even more amazing when you can honestly feel that your work is just a natural extension of yourself. I absolutely love it.

Actually, I don't - planned to do that for a while, but it didn't work out. Maybe I can get someone to help me with it and set it up. It's about time I made some kind of transition from the paper-pencil situation

Back to work... why, why do I have an exam tomorrow when all I want to do is celebrate...

Actually fairy I just redesigned Glasko.com, I'd be glad to set you up a page. here (http://www.glasko.com/newlayout/) is the new design (still needs centered, incorperated into the site, ect) but I plan on doing a creative writing/poetry section... and since this is PHP you could update a page anywhere and it would appear right there... Fairykiller's page. Your call, I'd be glad to do it up for ya! I'm actually creating an artwork page for somebody who does some pretty interesting pixel characters, also.

If you've got AIM or something we could exchange poetry sometime, too. Most of the stuff I've written doesn't really hit the web.
