hey everyone,
its 4:41am and i can't sleep. i just updated my livejournal so i guess i'll write it in here too.
so i'm pretty much done with school now, one paper and a final left to go. i skipped my last day of classes since i didn't sleep at all the night before. this was wednesday mind you, it was gorgeous outside. while staring blankly at my computer screen later that afternoon, i get a call from wheeler (friend of ~15 years). he works at a cadillac dealership and he got eight tickets for a screening of troy. so we get a few more people (Pat--NSB--, his girlfriend and our friend dan) and we head off to the loews near fenway park. before entering the theatre we had to go through a metal detector to prevent any leet warezy goodness i guess. anyways, dan has like two belts on, three or four chains and says "um, i think we might have a problem on here" and they wave him on, hehe. the movie was pretty good, i suspected some inaccuracies but not enough to annoy me. i think we headed home after that.
i had some really strange dreams last night.
one of which was with me and some random girlfriend i made up. she needed to cross the mexican border. from new hampshire. you figure it out.
the other one was kind of sad. i work at the service desk with L (look, i stole swamp's naming scheme!), quite possibly one of my best and most attractive friends. anyways, in the dream she won't talk to me and seems very pissed off. i walk around aimlessly trying to figure out why and i run into another person i work with and ask him why. he knew why but wouldn't tell me for a while. when i finally find out, its because she just doesn't like me anymore. i felt totally heartbroken, then i think i woke up.
jeff called me from somewhere in new orleans asking me for directions to get back home.
i worked with L today, which was nice because i thought i was working with my manager. she had it goin on today as always.
its 5am now.
so after me and beanie leave work and go to mikes since his parents were gone. eating and watching tv, not much out of the ordinary. they watched band of brothers for a while and i got bored, so i did a few ZD updates.
i've been listening to the new sonic youth album, which you should all obtain legally like me (when it actually comes out in June, hehe). not too bad, but its no Goo.
i read a few of my friends journals today since i haven't done so in a few days. i'm a little concerned for another friend of mine who shall be called L (i have a lot of L friends :p) she goes to college in georgia and she pretty much said that shes kind of lonely and she misses everyone back home. i'm thinking of asking her out a few days after she comes home, mainly for cheering her up but it seems that we're both in need of a significant other right about now. who knows.
my mom had her second thing of chemo wednesday, and shes doing very well. she got sleeping pills to try and help with her sleeping problem (shes been watching me play final fantasy 7 and x at 2am lately). i'm really happy that this is going well. she should be fully recovered in september. we also planned a vacation to new hampshire in july so help her relax.
sidenote.
i am going to be staying near weirs beach, home of funspot the first week of july. funspot is an immensely cool arcade. if anyone lives near there and wants to hang out let me know.
running out of things to say, so i guess i'll end with saying that everyone is coming home from college soon and oh i just cant wait!
