Since I work on the night of my birthday, my wife took me out to dinner and a movie last night. First thing we did was go to the videographer who shot my wedding. The DVDs are in. If anyone wants a burned copy, shoot me a PM. I haven't seen it yet, but I hear good things. /wwwthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif
We went to get her car's oil changed after that. Didn't want to waste the night waiting for a guy to change oil, but it had to be done. Took the bastards an hour and a half, too. Here's a thought: hire a few more mechanics? Make room for a couple more cars in the shop?
And now out of nowhere, he's a picture of Jimmy Walker from "Good Times"

After that, we drove to Subway, which is too expensive for our tastes, but the food is good and it was a special occasion. I got the Seafood & Crab, which has now been renamed to the ever-so-homo "Seafood Sensation." I can not emphasize that gay that is. There's no way I'm ordering a "Seafood Sensation." I'll just hafta call it a "seafood" from now on. They should know what I mean. The bread was hard and it turned out not to be that good. We'd have been better off with Taco Bell.

I JUST HAD TO SHOW SOMEONE HOW TO CHANGE THEIR HOMEPAGE IN MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER. THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU COULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT. WHAT THE FUCK

After Subway, we went to the movie theater. Tinseltown. Roar. The great part about going to a movie on a Wednesday night is that you're the only two people in the entire place. t00t. We chose to see Adam Sandler's "50 First Dates" which started at 9:45. It was 8:15. So we wasted the hour and a half playing SkeeBall, Air Hockey, and some arcade games. Every single video game they had had guns to shoot at the screen. Every one. No fighting games. No sports. Wtf.
Also when I was in the lobby, I saw the coolest movie poster evar evar evar. Tell me what you think:

Tell me it doesn't look like that woman is totally goin' down on that guy. Tom Hanks is the fucking mack.
"50 First Dates" is pretty funny. There is a reference to Happy Gilmore in it, which I laughed out loud at, and Rob Schneider is in it, which was awesome. I love Rob Schneider. Call me a minority like that. Also Harry the hardware guy from Home Improvement (or Shawn's dad Chet on Boy Meets World) is in it, and he does a good job. I don't want to spoil much, but Drew Barrymore's character has a fault in her that allows Sandler to live like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Good stuff. Only Groudhog Day pulled it off better.
Got home at midnight, and since she treated me to dinner and a movie, I made sure to do my part of the traditional bargain and "put out." <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
