I'm so fucken happy right now because I just found an apartment. I've been living with relatives for the past 2+ years since I lost a great job back in 2001. Well back then I also had my car catch on fire while I was driving it, and then lost my apartment while owing back rent of $740 and this all occured in a 5 week period of time.
Around here in NH if you owe a landlord rent the other landlords won't rent to you till you pay off the old one. I took over 2 years but I finally off the old landlord last month and have been saving every cent I could. I saved up $400 for a deposite and today looked at my second apartment. The first one was an efficiency apartment which was more or less a 12x12 ft room with a small bathroom for a $100 /wk with all utilities included which I turned down promptly.
Today I went to look at a 1 bedroom with everything included for $120 /wk. Fuck, this place was huge, the bedroom itself is 15x12 ft, and I have a big bathroom, and livingroom also with a medium size kitchen. Talk about falling into a great deal.
I've been seeing only apartments in the paper for like $700+ a month and you pay all the utilities and the places are tiny but this place is the size of a large 2 bedroom for $480 a month and I don't even have to pay electricity. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>
