Today was the day referenced in the update to my other post. I sent N an IM this afternoon asking if tonight was still cool, and she congratulated me on having the guts to IM her first....she said she wasn't going to IM me unless I talked to her first. Haw. She also asked if it would just be the two of us...to which I couldn't say yes, so I invited C. The initial invitation from N was just to hang out and have fun...not a date, so I didn't want to go alone...plus I didn't want C to get offended (I think she likes me). Drove to the campus and called N to tell of my arrival.

N walks out and C comes over. We jump in the car and head off.

We walked around the mall for a bit hitting the stores to buy me a new wardrobe. Got some new goodies that will debut this weekend.

We then drove back to Harrisburg, into the city, to drive past where C will be living next semester. I showed them where I used to live...and then we just drove around for a bit and talked.

We then hit Denny's to grab a quick snack and some drinks. I'm like totally lost in conversation with N...when I slightly turn my head to see people standing behind us waiting for a table. Scroll back to the beginning of the diaries archives to find out about her....THE EX is there with a guy. We didn't make eye contact, but from what I understand she saw me sitting next to this absolutely beautiful female and, knowing her, probably went off the deep end. She was totally unattractive...I would not date her as she is now.

I didn't do anything to her to hurt her in retalliation. I just took it and sat there wishing for justice. It was served tonight. More than likely, she assumed I was with N...and since N is the stereotypical "hottie"...well...you know. It was also a kick in the ass to me, though. It was like Gd saying "HEY DUMMY. LOOK WHAT YOU LEFT BEHIND. BE HAPPY. MOVE ON. SINCERELY, GD. P.S. THERE WILL BE NO 'TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS' TONIGHT, BUDDY. LUST IS A SIN."

I then drove them back to campus and said nightnight. C IMed me and I'm talking to her right now...reflecting on tonight's activities. I learned a LOT of things about N (which was my primary goal).
She said she dislikes "thin" guys. When I questioned it and said "well, I don't think anyone likes Ethiopian starving thin guys just like they don't like insanely obese guys" she said she doesn't care for any range of "thin" guys....she wants them to have some body.
She burped. We then discussed how she doesn't hold back with that kind of stuff. Awesome.
She's a virgin.
I have to mention her eyes again....they're INCREDIBLE.
She has a 3.76 GPA.
She's going to be a teacher
The rest I'm keeping to myself

Either way...my life changed last Saturday as I was looking into N's eyes. I'm unsure as to whether she is a possible girlfriend, so I don't know EXACTLY what I saw when looking into her eyes...but I know for a fact it was definitely the future.

Sounds really good dude ;o Careful though, if your life is like mine, things look like they're all find and dandy, and then life smacks you across the face and rapes you in the ass.

Yeah, I'll drink to that. I'm not saying to be pessimistic, SG, but I would take everything with a grain of salt. Saying something is a sign from whatever diety you believe in can put your good judgement to the curb, and make you blind to faults that you would have otherwise seen. Keep your eyes and ears open.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade. I honestly hope that things work out with you and this new girlie. Best wishes.

I've found that the most concrete "evidences" of God's existence don't come from positive experiences, but come from the way positivity can be twisted out of sheer negativity and poor luck.

In other words, if you're asking God to show himself/itself/herself/themselves to you, don't expect it to be through good fortune.
