Einhander keeps freezing at the same point.

I'm running PCSX on a power mac osx 10.4.11
I downloaded Einhander for ps1
tried to mount the .img it worked fine until the third stage right after all the dead ships fall and you enter a corridor... then it just freezes locks up. same point every time
brunt the .ccd to a cd using clonecd and still freezes right at the same point.
some thing with the copy protection? what can I do?

all other games work fine that I've downloaded.

the game is not slow or anything it works fine up to that point.

Still, get a PC. Your emulation options are much better that way.

will these rom work on a ps1 console?

First, it´s not a rom - it´s called an image of the game. And yes, it will run on a PS1, if you have a modchipped one.. Otherwise, use a PC with ePSXe.

Your PS1 would have to be modified to play a burnt disc. Can't really help ya there. What plug-ins are you using? I guess I can't suggest anything since you're on a Mac, but if you can find 'em, try different ones. It could possibly be a bug in one of them.

I searched around a bit and it doesn't sound like Einhander should have any particular problems.

And, to be a smartass: the game is called "Einhänder", which includes the german letter "Ä" - you won´t find it on your qwerty keyboard..;)
