Well get out and take a walk. Not a walk for exercise but a really slow leasurely walk in the woods or a field, stop and sit in inviting spots and just enjoy and let all the tension go and forget the world. It can really help but don't make it a job, just let it happen.

Well there's one thing that makes the world at least tolerable.
Well maybe toterable as Bozo the fucken clown nailed to a white wall is tolerable.

I would, but it's like 30 degrees outside and I left my coat at home. /wwwthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif

This is a really good idea for anyone. This is interesting, because I recall very distinctly walking by a forest at one point, and seeing a really expansive field. Then I looked at the forest, and just said "Forest." I looked at the field and said "Field." At that point, they were the only two things on my mind...Walking through nature is not only enjoyable, it can put you into a simpler state of mind free from societal obligations, and unlike many other methods of escape, it stays with you and soothes you even after you return.

I meant tommorrow or this weekend, just shutoff the PC, forget your responsibilities for the rest of the day and get out for a while.

I agree 100%. That's why I live in, basically, a wooded area. I find it comforting.
Plus, somebody's gotta feed the raccoons and opossums.

First snow, now rain. So much for my walk. On the bright side, I didn't end up getting sick. Turned out to just be a sore throat.
