My emulator is freezing what do I do?

I'm using Boycott Advance v0.28.1. The problem is that when I'm playing games it freezes at certain points, like in all the Pokemon games, it freezes everytime I try to enter a Pokemon Center or Mart. Is there anything I could do to stop this from happening?

Have you tried the more recent v0.4.0 version?

I can't use it. My OS is too old, I'm using OS 9.2.2.

Oh Jeez, there's your problem right there. In order to fully experience everything emulation has to offer, you're going to need a new computer, something with is x86 based, preferably a windows PC (as the selection of emulation software completely dwarfs OSX's selection)

...What can I say it was free....but I get your point Mac sucks Windows rule. A PC is my long term solution, but I can't get one at the moment so I guess i'm fucked...actually I'm proper fucked.
