I'm sitting here, listening to my brother get grilled for the 3rd time this week. He's essentially trying to lazy his way out of doing things around the house that he has to do to continue living here, not really trying hard enough to get a job, essentially making bad decisions left and right. This time though, much of this was spawned by a bad decision I made.
We had to mow the lawn and do the dishes before we left to visit my dad. I had my brother mow the lawn (mistake on my part because he does everything he does half-assed), and I did the dishes. Part of mowing the lawn is edging, and after my bro finished the mowing, he asked whether we should get the edging done. Some time prior in the day, I found out that my step-mom, little brother, and little sister arrived last night and were staying at my aunt's house with my dad. I was excited about going, so I essentially decided to fuck off the edging and said let's go.
Long story short, we got back at 9:30, and my mom and her bf are STILL lecturing my brother. I even informed them that it was my decision to go but it was mainly that my brother went outside when they even hinted at beginning a lecture to try to avoid it. Still, while he may have been askin for it, I feel responsible, and I tell ya, I HATE lectures. Oh well. <img src=smilies/banghead.gif>
