Hello,i'm a new member,my name is Szemi.

Sorry, does anybody knows how to hack up the tiles of Super Mario Bros. sprites(bricks, enemy sprites, platforms, coins, etc.)?

If somebody know which programme can do it,please write here. :)

I would imagine every tile editor in existence that wasn't written specifically for a newer generation system should be able to edit SMB. Just pick any tile editor from the graphics editing section (that doesn't specify that it's from PS1/TIM graphics) and if you don't like it, try another one. The most popular editors are probably Tile Molester, Tile Layer Pro and YY-Chr but there are probably at least a dozen editors capable of editing Super Mario Bros.

But if you're expecting to find a program that displays all of the tiles exactly how they appear in game, I doubt such a utility exists. The graphics are stored in a pretty scrambled format and there is a lot of recyling/mirroring used.

For instance, you're not going to find the full graphic for the Goomba, only half of it. This is because the Goomba graphic is mirrored, the left and right sides are identical, only flipped. Any changes you make to the half of the graphic that appears in the ROM will automatically be applied to the other half of the Goomba as well.

Also, Super Mario and Fire Mario use the exact same graphic, only the palette is changed. So you can't, for instance, have Super Mario wearing a cape and Fire Mario wearing a space helmet because whatever change you make to one of them affects the other.
