It's ironic, because as much as the Rangers will save in payroll from this, they will lose it all back in ticket sales, so it's really purely a trade on the players, and well...Soriano and a minor leaguer for A.Rod...sorry Texas...you got fucked unless you can trade Soriano for another star people will want to go solely to see that star.

How this: being a 21 year old (soon 22) virgin sucks on Valentine's day. I had a gf for a week in mid January many years ago....thankfully I wasn't with her for Valentine's Day...I would have wasted that much extra effort on her bitch ass.

It does suck. What did I do? I spent the day home and ate chinese food for dinner, fucking romantic. Even my sister had flowers sent to her from DJ she knows down the shore, and she isn't very social and shit. I hate Valentine's Day.

Don't worry about it, it's just a sham of a holiday anyway. I mean, what's so romantic about having a day in which everybody celebrates their relationship/marriage/whatever? Seems almost antithetical to romance. There are anniversaries for that. For guys, it's a way of getting girls to put out and for girls, it's a way to bully their boyfriend/husband into buying them something expensive and spending a night out. Just do what us cynics do: go out with your friends and have fun, like it's any other day. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

I personally like the day, it makes the girls happy. Get some chocolate, flowers, a stuffed animal... take her out for dinner. I mean, let's be honest... it's a girl's day. But I think it sucks that so many people feel left out. There are positives to being single too, you know <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>. Also, this is a great day to ask out the girl you've been thinkin about.

And somebody made a comment about playing video games on valentines day. I played Zelda for 3 hours before I went to dinner <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
