Pulled over...

Got pulled over by a cop last night, because I had a blown tail light?!! Ticket is being "erased" from my record, because I fixed the problem in 24 hours . . . It cost a total of 86 cents to fix it.

Where was this cop when I saw someone turn left infront of traffic from the right hand turn lane (when they were in fact signalling right)? What about when some jackass threw a beer bottle from his truck when he squealled his tires coming out of a parking lot? What about the asshole who passed me when I was doing 65 in a 55 (the asshole was going around 75)?

Not to say that I wasn't in the wrong, but geez.

Funny how cops seem to do that. Reminds me of the time last summer, I was sittin at a traffic light when this mustang comes sqeualin' through the light, almost sideways, and stops one car behind me. I said, 'i'll show him', and I floored my camaro, spinning my tired through the intersection. no sooner than I was through the intersection, then I saw those dreaded flashing lights. The cop pulled me over and he asked me 'do you know why i pulled you over?' and I said 'yeah, i spun my tires' He then said 'would 100 bucks cover a set of tires for your car?' I replied 'just about' He then said he was gonna let me go, made me promise not to do it again, blah blah. Why was I pulled over? He must have heard or seen the other car flinging himself around the corner like he did. Oh well, I got away with it

I swear, most of the time when cops pull you over for tiddley shit like this is because they want to have a closer look at you and your car. My brother (former "cop" in the Air Force) commented that if a cop pulls you over for no reason, he can have a reason by the time he walks to your vehicle.
