Earlier tonight, shortly after the super bowl ended, my dad had some chest pains minutes before his left arm was having a sharp pain (an indicator of a heart attack). Thankfully, the EKG they did on him didn't show a heart attack having occurred, but it certainly scared me and my brother, probably as well as my dad. Every time he's getting ready to recover from what is now 3 surgeries in about 2 weeks time, something goes wrong that sets him back. I'm growing more fearful about his weakness eventually causing something that can't be fixed, though I still believe that if anyone can make it through, he can. He's been through so much shit in his life...he's prepared for anything and everything. So wish for the best for him this next week.
