Holy crap it's getting REALLY windy and stormy in Manhattan right now.

I'm on the thirteenth floor of my building, and a newspaper just flew by my window! /wwwthreads/images/icons/shocked.gif

I like watching the lightning. =)

Edit: I wish the windows would stop rattling loudly, though. =P

I live in South Dakota, and its windy here too.
Is the weather there messed up too?
Yesterday it was 75 and tomorrow they say to expect snow!

A moment ago, there were several lighting streaks at once, each branching, and I had this wierd impression of the sky having a network of electric veins.

We got lightning like that when I lived in Nebraska. It would just roll across the stretch of the sky. Having come from So. California, I'd never seen anything like it. I stayed up all night cuz I thought it was so cool.

/me misses the thunderstorms in NE.

How bad is the drought out there? It has been unseasonably dry in Southern Califonia too.
