Okay, so today in my Critical Thinking and Argument class we had to turn in a daily assignment that she had assigned on Tuesday. Now, these are the kinds of assignments that affect your final grade by maybe half of a point each, so it's not the end of the world if you miss one. The thing is that I had done the assignment, it was right there on my laptop, she could see it if she wanted to, but the thing is they were supposed to be printed out. Now, how I'm supposed to print it out with no working printer in the house and no floppy disks to copy them off of the shitty loaner laptop that I'm using is beyong me, but I suppose I should just be able to run blank paper through my asscrack and have the words magically be printed on the sheets, yeah?
Anyway, so I sheepishly said, "Well, I don't have it printed out, but it's right here if you want to look at it," and she says to me in this really snotty, bitchy voice, "Yes, but the Syllabus says that you have to have the assignments ready to turn in on the day they're due. Did you forget about it or did you just not understand?"
So I didn't really say anything in response, I just calmly collected my stuff together and walked out. The last thing I need on my mind, what with my mother going into major surgery tomorrow and all, is some man-hating lesbo bitch professor who likes being vitriolic to her students. Fucking bitch better watch her damn mouth, because next time she gives me one of her little pearls of wisdom I might not be in such a good mood. <img src=smilies/angryfire.gif>

Teachers like that need a very hard beating. I hate it when they compensate for poor knowledge and teaching ability with anal retentiveness.

Does her critical thinking include the thought that a college student with a limited budget may not be able to afford a printer or ink or may even be having computer problems. I think your teacher needs to learn about logic or buy you a printer herself if she insists on printed assignments since printers are not a thing most people possess. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

Oh man do I agree.
I hvaen't had a printer in like 3 years. I never need one, and if I ever do, I just have the ol' wife print it out at work for me, and that's really rare.

Yeah, I ask my aunt or go to the print shop where it's $.10 a copy B&W $.25 for color 8"X11" and that's a lot cheaper than printer cartridges and the last printer I had worked like shit and it was a H/P btw and it was supposed to make photo quality images with the right paper but they looked like shit when I tried then I found out I had to buy a different color cartridge for the high quality color images and it cost $39.99. I ended up unhooking the printer and putting it back in the box and gave it to a friend and by doing that my computers performance has increased drastically and stability has tripled at least and if I want a copy of anything the print shop is on the way back from work and I can copy to CD or Floppy anything I need. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

Damn, I hate people like that. Even if she isn't willing to give you credit for the assignment (maybe because she might not have time during or immediately after class to read it), she doesn't have to be a condescending bitch about it.
She deserved a reply such as "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the litter box again? That would explain several things, actually." or "Do you take bitch lessons or are you naturally gifted?". Not that it would be wise to actually say those to her face, of course. =P (At least, not while you're still taking her class.)

Bitch professors suck. This semester I'm taking 3rd year Japanese from a different professor than I had for the 1st two years. Yesterday in class, I asked a simple question about why a certain grammatical element was present in this one sentence, and she coldly put me down for not knowing in the first place. Not that anyone else in the class knew what it was. That particular grammar had never been presented to us in our formal education. Regardless, a teacher should never scold a student for asking a relevant question. <img src=smilies/angryfire.gif>
I want my old professor. <img src=smilies/cry.gif>

Relax, dude. I would have gone to the library, printed out, and then walked back to make her take it.

Knowing this kind of teacher, she'd tell him it's then late and that he still got no credit.

You just have to respectfully, not take no for an answer. Give it to her anyway, and if she refuses it... leave it on her desk and walk away. The chances that she'll take it are in your favor. If she decides not to take it, she'll at least know what a bitch she is <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>.
I love college.

I had a similar experience with a teacher recently. People like that shouldn't be allowed to teach. When you have a teacher like that it completly destroys any interest you might have had in the subject.
