So, I'm thinking of selling Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 in order to get trilogy. You know, Wii controls on all Primes.

If you really like the games it's worth having. I personally love the Wii controls, and the bonus of little fixes to the games as well as widescreen support are good.

I am finally just getting around to playing the prime games (sinful I know, as I am as obsessed with the metroid series as some people are with star wars etc), now that i finally bought a gamecube (20 bucks!! :D:D ).

I am thinking of buying a wii in the new year and maybe I will just wait until i get the trilogy. But the better part of me wants to master these games on the GC first, in order to truly appreciate all the "fixes"

I loooooooovvveedd the chozo hieroglyphs all over the place. Metroid Lore was very satisfying , after wondering for years as a kid if I would ever learn more about "those bird statues" that I was always seeing.

Metroid never fails to impress me.

Anyways, im done spamming and ranting lol.

Yes, I love the way those games have those bits of lore and information all over the place for anyone who wants to look for them. The scan visor is one of my favorite bits of those games.

So, I've just bought Trilogy. I've heard some critics about the graphic change and man, people who are mad at the changes get angry over nothing. I mean, I didn't even realised there were changes before I decided to re-play the Gamecube version of Prime 1 for a couple of minute, just for fun.

I feel the same way. At first I was like "No, nothing changed..." then I thought about it for a bit and realized what they meant. Doesn't hurt my enjoyment of the game.
