I was just watching the news and apparently Colan Powell gave a speech almost no news network reported on a couple of years ago. I basically stated the problems with building up an antiterrorist network of business that would basically be solely paid by the US government. The problem he stated was that they would need terrorism to keep going to stay in business and it was in their interest that there was active terrorism across the world.

I always wondered why when the US said they were pulling out of an area all of a sudden there would be a surge of bombing and attacks in those area's. I made no sense because if you put yourself in the terrorist place it would be good for the US troops to leave and then WAIT to do what you are going to do. Instead these people go in and in doing so get on the news and the troops DON'T get pulled out.

I now believe these US corporations that deal with antiterrorism through selling the government weapons, armor, communications, services, suppies in general, and/or other suport service might very well be the ones behind all this.

Imagine taking a persons family hostage and saying you have 2 choices. You can go here and blow yourself up and we will give your family a million dollars and let them go or you don't and we rape them all and then kill you all.

I don't find this beyond what some will do for millions or even billions of dollars that is just paid in a never ending series of huge checks from the government.

I wonder if the government has even considered this. I wonder if possibly some higher ups in the government military or intelligence agencies that conduct interrogations are even in on it so all tracks are covered and they receive huge kickbacks for making sure no one finds out. It would not surprise me in the least.

Yep, military industrial congressional complex. Honestly, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan seem to just be payouts to private contractors. We have all these guys doing jobs that the military used to do (like carpenter, electrician, plumber, cook, even providing security for high level officers and government officials). Obviously, part of that is because we didn't want to call a draft, but that's a reason not to have a war, not to spend a couple thousand times what we'd normally spend on a war.

You also have people that supply weapons, ammo, kevlar vests, those million dollar remote planes with a satellite to control them from the US, fuel, bombs, aircraft, and the list goes on and on. I myself would stop all wars right now. Close virtually every overseas base. Stop most military procurements except for maditory stuff like food and other basics needed to run bases. Let go of at least 1/2 our troops and an equal amount of people from the intelligence service minimum. Close 1/2 of the US bases.

I'd then take all that money and make very low interest loans to people and businesses to expand in the US. I would also take a huge chunk and pay off our deficit with it to the countries that we pay the highest interest rates.

Greed will be the downfall of the human society as we know it.

How could you say that? Do you honestly believe that all people care about is money? The human life is far more valuable and the absolute most important thing in this world is love. Everyone is filled with lo- <<GIVE ME YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SOUL!!>> bunnies and fluffy things. The thought of someone being overcome with greed contradicts what makes us human. I for one, think that love and peace will prevail, for if we all work toge- <<I WILL RIP YOUR HEART OUT UNLESS YOU GIVE ME ALL THE POWER IN THE WORLD>> happily and forever. I cannot believe that you would say such a thing.
