most of my friends hate my new girlfriend. yes, she's not very smart - but she is hot so sue me.
i get into situations sometimes to see where they will go. who knows? maybe things will work out. if they end in shambles, well at least I tried.
my friends don't see it that way. I guess they are "looking out for me". that's nice. but it's causing stress on a relationship that was otherwise all smooth sailing.
i'm not giving up my guy friends. I'm not dropping my new girlfriend's ass off at panda express just cuz they don't like her.
i'm torn in 2 worlds.

I don't think there's a man alive who can't understand that.

The friend thing can be such a killer for a relationship. A very close friend of mine nearly broke up with his now fiancee because one of his other close friends didn't like her. My opinion is that friends should just stay out of it unless they have reason to believe that he/she is cheating or doing something equally nasty.
Anyway, I hope things work out for you. You don't sound head-over-heels for this girl, but that's only my impression. Do whatever you think is best for you and only listen to your friends if their problems with her become really serious. And above all, have fun.

This could make a good movie. Oh, wait. :-P
I dunno, man. Did you ask your friends yet why they're doing what they're doing? An answer is better then none.

Sounds more like their problem. Some guys get freakazoid about "what's he doing with her?" thinking it'll
A) disrupt the male bonding/friendship deal
B) ruin what fun and good times they've had with you
C) They think they know what's best.
It'll pass. Give it time. If it doesn't, maybe you need to look at your friendships a little closer.
I would.

I think that unless she's a bitch to them or makes you stay home all the time which means she's a bitch to you then fuck them. If they can't let you have the time to enjoy a new woman for a while then they're being pretty immature. Would you feel good for them if they found someone they liked a lot, I imagine you would and they should show you the same respect.
