View Full Version : Been Sick As A Dog....

Man, I'm just starting to feel better.
I've been sicker than hell since New Years. I don't mean to sound whiny, but I don't get sick.
It's not only pissed me off, but I'm losing time at work. I only came back to work tonight so I could catch some heat.
My life pretty much sucks, as of right now. My Grandmother passed away (102), and of course, I'm lacking funds and couldn't go up for the funeral.
My writing's going on strong, on the positive side, and I'm not dead yet.
But once in a while, curve balls and all, you gotta sit and grit your teeth and take what life gives you.
I guess I'm just tired of it and ranting.
Sorry.

I'm very sorry to hear that. You have my condolences.

I bet the reaper has already given up on chasing you because he can't hope to keep up. ;)

There's no need to apologize. Sometimes we just have to vent, and maybe even get some sympathy. It's only natural.
You're certainly not a whiner.

Who is Margaret? What about Beatrice?
She had a good life.
Message to you: "I remember you." She wasn't laid to rest per her request. "She is the last". Perhaps that means the last of her generation? She knows if the family helped you, you would have gone to her funeral and she was a little upset from that.
Let me know if this is correct.

I'm seeing someone wearing...blue, a blue piece of clothing...and they have hair on their head....and wait, wait...they have other pieces of clothing on as well...

What do you do, how tired do you get when each day you struggle against an entire culture based on the normalization of trauma-inducing behavior? There is no sanctuary.</P>

Neither. But my brother, who is barely making ends meet, said he would have helped me. But he's a security guard with a wife and a brand new mortgage.
What surprised me that, of all the grandchildren, I'm the only one that never borrowed any money from her. My brother borrowed $4000 for his downpayment on his condo years ago, which he paid her back. My sister on the other hand, borrowed nearly $ 20,000. My grandmother never got a dime back.
My sister, who lives withing spitting distance of my brother, didn't go to the funeral.
My brother was the only one there.
