and i applaud hollywood greatly for it. the name of it is "The Other Side of Heaven", and it is an excellent story of the struggles of a missionary when on his 3 yr mission during the great depression. yes, those of you who know anything about the lds religion (or are lds as in the case of cloud), know that missions are normally 2 yr, with possible extensions. well, this elder was sent to the tongo, during a time that travel was only possible thru means of boat, usually sail or row boat. and it took months in order to make it to your assignment. well, anyways, you can find out more http://www.othersideofheaven.comat the official website.</a>
it is truly an excellent movie, no matter whether you are a member or not. it could be considered another october sky type of film for you people (another story of a young man who fought against the odds for what he believes in).

*prepares to be flamed for blabbing about an lds related film*

Consider yourself flamed. I was gonna nag you about posting about a film in diaries but now that I see what kind of film it is, it all makes a strange kind of sense. :P

Ahh yeah! And my friend and I last night - both non-practicing mo's, were planning our entry into the indie film world with an LDS themed horror flick. We have some rather great, albiet, sacriligious ideas. it's gonna rock.
