Synopsis of the situation (this is from an email I sent to someone):

A while back I was sitting around when I suddenly had the idea to do paranormal research. All of a sudden I had this intense desire to learn about all of this.

My first ghost hunt yielded some pictures...just some orbs and a face peering down from a window.

Second ghost hunt gave me an EVP saying "stay away from here." Needless to say, that was pretty frightening being my first EVP and all.

A few days later I was planning out another investigation when I had this strange feeling that I should turn around because I'm not alone. Nothing there, but it got really cold. I took out the mic and requested he/she talk to me and tell me why I'm being bothered. I couldn't make out the EVP, but it sounded something like "Dave hates you / Dave needs you / Dad awaits you / Death awaits you." Looking back on the incident, it would seem that 'death awaits you' is the appropriate one.

We're at a restaurant a few days later discussing religion. This person who was sitting across the room kept looking at us and trying to listen. He eventually sat right besides us to listen and talk. He was quite religious and was talking about getting to heaven and trusting in Jesus. I found it weird because no one has ever just walked up to a group of people and started talking before.

A few weeks later my friends and I are at the same restaurant at about 1am. We're discussing ghosts, paranormal, spirituality (religion), etc. All of a sudden, I do mean all of a sudden, somebody is behind me who says "someone needs to hear oh my god." It startled me, as it did everyone. He said "I've GOT to hear this..." and sits down around us. He laughs at a lot of the stuff we say and then announces: "I'll give everyone here five dollars to shut the #&$^ up right now."

We're in shock. Who in their right mind says that? One of my friends ask "why?" and he replies in a sarcastic tone: "because it's annoying!" He says something about enlightenment, and a few minutes later says to my friend "you're an arrogant #*$& who has fifteen years until enlightenment." We left.

My friend and I went back a few minutes later to see if he was still there. He was paying. I needed to use the facilities so we opted to go next door. Upon returning to the car, the keyless entry wouldn't work.

I didn't put it together at the time, but when I got the EVP in my house of "death awaits you", as I was figuring out what he said, I felt him press against my ear and go "pssst!". I freaked and yelled, at the top of my lungs, "OH MY GOD!!!" He was apparently identifying himself when he said to me "someone needs to hear 'oh my god'" in the restaurant.

A few weeks later I'm drifting off to sleep...I'm in that stage where you're JUST about to lose consciousness and be asleep when I'm woken up. I look somewhere in the room and put my head back down. I look again at the exact same place. I realize I'm looking at my bible. I think in my head "should I get the bible?" and my head shakes "yes". I ask if this person is my guardian angel and my head shakes "yes". I get the bible...while I walk I felt kind of lightheaded...almost dizzy. I opened it up and my hands almost turned the pages by themselves. I pointed at a word. I asked "is there anything else you want to tell me?" I shook my head "no" and closed the book.

I couldn't sleep...I was excited. The bible was in Hebrew so I went online to find out what word it was. All I found was the letters so I wrote them down: ch q N Z. Later on I found out it was the book of Jonah.

I then felt my hand want to move on its own...I pointed with the pen to a word next to what I had pointed at before. I then felt like I should write stuff down. I asked "what's your name?" and wrote down, in almost baby-like handwriting "C h u c k." I asked "who are you?" and wrote down "C h u c t." I asked if he was my guardian angel and wrote "N O". I asked if he was my guide and wrote "O N" several times and then "N O". I also wrote "222".

Never had I experienced that before...I was fully aware and in control, yet my fingers moved the pen on someone else's will.

Over the next few days I would end up with pages upon pages of text from this person and an apparent other person. Most of it from "Chuck" is a bunch of lies, hatred, etc. The other person, "Chris", seems more friendly.

I talked to some friends who are psychics and they told me they get bad vibes from this. I continue to tell them my conversations and then another psychic comes along and tells me that I have a warrior angel named Michael around me protecting me along with 3 other angels who are here all the times. Michael is here because he is needed for something of this caliber.

A day later this same psychic tells me he's delivering a message either from God himself or Michael....basically, he tells me to STOP WRITING. Michael is getting angry because I've asked for protection, my prayers were answered, they're here and ready to help, yet I'm continuing to do it. I have a HUGE shadow figure here who is a demon. The word 'shroud' came to mind, so this demon probably specializes in concealing or hiding and I've been tricked from day 1...he was trying to turn me away from God and make me doubt. I have a gift from God, but I'm not ready to use it yet and I need to knock it off.

I also received instructions that I need to go to a church in a downtown area where trees line the street. It's non-demoninational but in a Presbyterian center. The pastor is an older guy, grey hair, glasses and blue eyes. He will help me. Another psychic added that I will first be greeted by a young ordained minister who will listen to my story and guide me to this person.

I live downtown so I set out to find the church...no luck.

The next day I'm told that the church is within 3 miles of my home, has something to do with "Pine", is the 3rd or 4th building from an intersection, and the pews face north by northwest. Still haven't found it.

The other thing was that I was told to anoint my home...and do it NOW. Don't wait. There is evil here and even though he cannot do me physical harm, he wants to. I bought some 100% pure extra virgin olive oil, put it in a bowl, and said the following:

Lord, by faith I anoint this oil and declare it holy unto you and ask that you would use it as a symbol of holiness and protection. Amen.

I put it on all 4 corners of the doorways, windows and sprinkled it in all 4 corners of the rooms. I opened up all the cabinets, closets, oven, etc. I have 2 main areas in the apartment...the living room which includes the kitchen and leads to the bathroom...and the bedroom. I went in both areas and said the following:

Lord, by faith I anoint me, this home and windows and doorways and declare them all holy unto you and ask that you would cleanse me and this home of every unclean spirit and human spirit that does not belong here. In the name of God, Satan, I bind you, I bind you hindering spirits, I bind you spirits of the prince of the air, I bind you evil forces, I command you to take your hands off my spirit soul and body, heart, mind and emotion and material things and this home. I bind your mouth and your power and command you to be gone forever. Lord, I pray for the surrounding protection of Your might warrior angels and the overshadowing power and protection of Your Holy Spirit over me and the home, the windows and the doorways, and ask that You would protect me from any attack of the enemy whether in spiritual or physical form, in Your name, God. Amen.

I got kind of warm when I said the "binding" part...and I almost got angry when I said it.

Later on that night when I was writing a letter, I had the desire to write "C h" and start spelling "Chuck". I refuse to write again like that so I ignored the desire, which was pretty strong. I'm not entirely sure if I've cleansed the house, but I'm going on good faith that I'm safe.

That's the email...I forgot to mention in the email that my sister, who has abilities, tried to communicate with this spirit to find out why he's bothering me. He choked her and showed her a terrible vision where I was being hurt.

Guess what...this shit is real.

Though spirits don't seem to mess with me directly, I tend to catch quick glances of someone out of my peripheral vision, and they disappear just as quickly. It get paranoid from it sometimes.

I have a bit of psychic ability, but I can't really control it yet so thoughts pop up in my head at random without even thinking it. It also seems to only affect what specific episodes of TV shows (mostly Simpsons for some reason) will play in about a week for now. If I knew how to control it, then I could probably do more than just know about TV episodes.

There's 2 ways you can handle this...

1) Ignore it all and when you die, you become a ghost yourself because you're too afraid to go into the light since you spent your life ignoring this and religion.

2) Accept it as truth, learn about it, maybe even help a lost soul roaming the earth...and when you die, go into the light, and all is well...maybe you'll even become a guide for someone living.

The choice is yours. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Scientia est potentia; non timere. Morituri te salutant.

Number ONE is learning to protect and ground yourself. You'll open up a portal of bullshit if you don't...plus you may end up hurting yourself.

Before doing ANYTHING, surround yourself with the white light and firmly plant yourself on the ground so that excess energy may flow off back into earth. After that, ONLY let enlightened spirits from the white light in...ignore everything else and ask that you be protected so that only they may come through.

I know, from personal experience, that evil will attempt to trick you...it will make things easier for you...it will make you stray away from (insert higher power here).

If you believe in ghosts/spirits and you want to learn to protect yourself from negative ones then you should probably study up on pentacles *not pentagrams*, magic circles, and dispelling the negative energy from yourself and your circle. These are wiccan rituals of white magic but most wiccans believe they can be useful in spiritual study. The circle more or less is a circle of colored candles and a chant to the 4 corners of the earth, the circle is bound with a symbol that looks like an infinity sign. When creating the circle you should imagine actually an invisible sphere being formed around you and the chant is to dispell evil/negative energy. It's quite an interesting procedure and many wiccans use the circle to meditate and pray to their chosen diety, but I imagine your own god would be fine in this case. You might want to use google and www.modernwiccan.com for information on these rituals because even though you may not choose to use them they may give you other insights/tangents into your current situation, and if you've gone to the effort of learning hebrew then this will be a piece of cake. I also look at learning about other beliefs and thier rituals a worthy and enlightening task which may give you more insight into yourself as you learn about other viewpoints of other cultures/people.

I'm not going to badmouth pagan religions and Wicca, but there's a reason why paranormal investigators will NOT go anywhere NEAR houses where these rituals take place

Yup.
It's called common sense. Not all wiccan or pagan rituals were benevolent....

I've heard about doing that before. It said that if I wanted to talk to someone just to act like I was in this room with two chairs and think about who I wanted to talk to. I did it and my friend Nicole came to me. She died in the hospital and I didn't even know it so I was glad when she came to me and told me that she was ok now.

I choose to believe that nothing happens after I die, so doing anything to prepare for the nothing that I'm expecting after I die would be a complete fucking waste of my time.

It has been documented (learned this in my Buddhism class) that peoples' spiritual 'visions' and their experience of 'miracles' (for example, seeing a ghost or experiencing automatic powers) are inextricably linked with their social context. It's a simple enough statement - basically means that a Buddhist in East Asia is not likely to have a vision of Jesus Christ, and a Christian in America is not likely to envision his next rebirth. So if you do not believe in any afterlife (and your social background is not currently significantly influencing you), your chances of having an afterlife 'experience' are slim. This finding calls into question the veracity of particular visions, since they differ so blatantly among different people. But it doesn't call into question the concept of belief or faith - it is just manifested in different ways across the globe. That's one more reason I'm agnostic - if Jesus Christ was IT, wouldn't more miracles/visions be more Christian? If there really is an afterlife and people can have visions of it, why doesn't this ever happen in the West? It's possible that similar phenomena is interpreted differently, of course. Who knows.
My Zoroastrian grandmother prepared for her rebirth for years before she died in a manner very different from what Swampgas is doing. Many people believe that you're preparing for it all your life (more good deeds = more good karma). It seems to depend more on religious belief than anything else, so it doesn't make sense to generalize and expect everyone to accept the spirit world, or whatever. I don't think Swampgas is missing/ignoring something by not preparing for his rebirth. And conversely I don't think I'm missing anything by not believing in his beliefs. So if you believe that nothing happens after death, so be it.

With all of the different beliefs floating around the world, I've decided to turn my back on the whole lot. I worship no one and nothing. I only believe in myself.

I also think theat lack of sex has caused SwampGas to start to lose his grip on reality and go on about this. He really needs a girlfriend.

Actually, Wicca was founded by Alastor Crowley back in the 13 hundreds near Great Britain. He was a Catholic monk who hear a rumor that Jesus and Mary Magdeline had children together. During this time the Catholic Church ruled over most of Europe with an iron fist, and they didn't want the slightest rumor that could hinder their religion to leak out, so they held it up and killed ANYONE who tried to release it. It would've been less hindering if they just denied it. So, Alastor, upon catching word, went mad. He began reading into various occult books, such as Baalism, druidism, celtics, and many more. He then went on to wirte the Book of shadows, which is basically a rip off of Genises. The first senteance i it is "In the beggining, there was The One." The One went on to create the God and the Goddess, which is a derivative of the God Head, The father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. Crowley began practicing in ritualistic sex and masachism,. he would claw at his skin in honor of his self-created Gods, he died in his fourtees from various infection he got from his rituals in an asylum.

I have seen red eyes. I did my nightly protection/grounding before I went to sleep. As soon as I grounded myself, my vision went black (third eye) and I saw 2 red eyes right infront of me. It startled me completely out of la la land.

Correct...someone kicked my bed the other day and I always attributed the tremors to my heart beat and my nerves registering that as movement.

I've taken specific steps to rid myself of this entity. Psychics who are helping me have told me that it's no longer in my house, but it's outside looking in. They suggested I anoint the outside of my doors, which I did.

It's not something that I just "got into." I didn't stumble upon a Ouiji board at camp and open up the 9th gate of hell. I was obviously born with this ability and it's only now waking up.

I got the numbers 996, 222 and 666. Sometimes they just kept repeating like 222222222. Sometimes they were backwards.

If this is correct, and this entity is going to predict the future for me for the rest of my life....what does that mean?

I already know people close to me are going to die. I've been preparing for it. My grandfather is about to keel over and die. My grandmother's health is failing. My other grandfather had a 2nd heart attack. My other grandmother is supposed to be the first to die.

The problem is, he was VERY angry and mean towards me. He repeatedly told me he wanted me to die. He wants to kill me. He lied to me. He tricked me. In fact, I think I got an EVP here a few hours ago of him saying "I want you DEAD"....after that, I went through the process again to reaffirm that evil should leave. I then spoke to any human ghosts that were here and explained the situation and how I'd like to be left alone....I'd be more than willing to chat at a later date. I then said "I know you're here, I just can't see you" and I heard a faint "yeah...".

If you're a medium, then why don't you request a conference with this entity and find out what his intentions really are? You have had more than enough influence from me to pick up on my vibes and tune in.

Forgive my skepticism, but receiving prophecies from a mothman wasn't in my education.
