The damnable bastard disease simply won't die. After a 3-day relentless assault of water, multivitamins, NyQuil, Listerine gargling, and lounging around, it still lingers --- biding its time, waiting for an opportune strike. I almost had the cough and sore throat cleared up last night, but for some reason the NyQuil didn't decongest my nose and I spent my entire sleep mouthbreathing. Yay.

My advice to all of you folks is to go get vaccinated ASAP. The flu really is a pain in the ass.

All I can say is: phew, glad I got my vaccinations. That sucks for you, bro. Hopefully it won't last too much longer.

I got the flu last year, on the 24th of December. I slept right through Christmas morning, woke up around 3 pm. god damn, I had that flu for over a week. I did everything you're supposed to do with a flu, drink lots of water, lots of rest, medecine, etc..but still it wouldn't go away. God, I hated that. I missed Christmas dinner because of it.

Hey thanks, I'm glad you got your vax too. God knows I'm getting mine for next year.

Never got vaccinated, never got the flu. I'm a lucky bastard, I guess it's because I manage to wash my hands way too much than any normal person should. That and I drink a lot of Green Tea and take my multi-vitamins every morning.

True. I went through that a few weeks ago. I had it for about a week--congestion, sore throat, constant coughing, sneezing, etc. The whole shabang. It sucked--next year, I'm DEFINATELY getting the vaccination. I don't want to go through another week of that.
