View Full Version : My life sucks and here's why

* The buyer's backed out of the deal, thus our house is back on the market. Those motherfucks wanted us to spend about 14k on a few cosmetic repairs which had nothing to do with the integrity of the house, just to make it look better. My mom and her lawyer told them to basically take the money and fuck off prompting the would-be owner to scramble. Long story short, the house is back on the market and it looks like I won't be leaving for PA in the coming weeks.

* My Blazer sucks, but we knew that already. I am about to drive this fucking thing over a cliff and cut my losses. I need more work on the transfer case in order to enable four-wheel drive and now the starter's shot. The vehicle starts when it wants to, not when I need to get home from work. And there's no radio so it is basically a piece of shit to me (as is any vehicle without a stereo of sorts).

* I almost hooked up with a 14-year-old girl from work. I swear I didn't know she was 14 until my friend told me. I knew she was young and still in school, but 14, shit that could've been trouble for me. I will admit that she is a beautiful girl and looks a lot older than she is. But that wouldn't hold up in court now, would it?

* I drank *11* cups of tea at work today. 11. Like, yeah, 11 cups of tea. I'd say a good seven or eight were green tea, the rest were English Breakfast tea, Earl Grey tea (tastes like cigarette ashes), and Lemon tea. The green tea is my favorite. Paying for 11 cups of tea wasn't cheap.

* I applied for a credit account from Amazon.com. I haven't heard back from them, but I hope I am approved. Want to buy myself some nice clothes, more RAM for this old PC and a new optical mouse and a new keyboard (when the function keys no longer work, I think that's a good indication that you need a new keyboard).

* I beat Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. It took me since June to do so. I must say that my game skillz have been lacking as of late. I guess that's what happens when one goes without gaming for almost a year, and jumps from a PS2 to the Cube.

* I'm still single. I try and try but nothing happens. Oh, but another girl I work with showed me her thong. Not the whole thong, just the side straps, but it was still pretty hot. But she's already taken so that's one less girl I could've asked out. My luck with the women is falling, and it is rather unfortunate for me that the only homosexual I work with has been flirting with me. I say unfortunate as I am straight. I like attention, but not that kind of attention from other males. I just don't appreciate another male looking at my crotch one day and then batting his eye lashes at me the next.

* It's good when your arm goes numb and your fingers twitch. Oh wait, it isn't.

* It's good when the girl your friend's been trying to hook you up with and who has been flirting with you lately has been dating a former friend-turned-drug dealer (who happens to be an Eagle Scout) for the past month. Oh wait, it isn't.

As you can see, my life sucks at the moment. Nothing good has happened in a long time. I need to change something or I need someone to die or something, I need exictement in my life. <img src=smilies/cry.gif> If one of the highlights of the past few weeks is my application for an Amazon credit account, I need help. Can someone suggest something that would bring some excite back into my life?

Oh, the arm thing, anyone know what that might be?

From my limited experience, I'd say it sounds like entrapment of a nerve in your arm. Like carpal tunnel syndrome for example. I might be able to tell you more if you're more specific, because it depends where the numbness and twitching is exactly. Could you describe it in a little more detail, eg thumb & first 2 fingers twitching, and numbness in same sort of region on your hand?

Keep in mind that I'm still just a student & if it's troubling you, you should talk to a professional.

It goes numb around the bicep and elbow region and runs to the forearm. As for the fingers twitching, it is the middle and ring fingers that are the culprits.

That doesn't fit the symptoms of any of the more common nerve problems I've read about, and the twitches and numbness in your case would have to be caused by 2 different peripheral nerves.

Normally a little twitching isn't much to worry about, it can be caused by muscle atrophy (eg if you stop playing a sport). But if it seems to come on around the same time as the numbness it's likely related. And numbness suggests nerve compression, entrapment, or other damage.

But like I said, it's at least 2 different nerves we're talking about here, and with my limited knowledge I can't say for sure what the problem would be (though I have a lot of theories which could scare you). If it bothers you, see a doctor. If it's not big deal, just wait a few days.

Sounds like what my arms felt like from to much lifting at work and when I used to work out all the time. Your muscles and tendons are probably overworked and need a rest when this occurs or they need more nutrients like redmeat for protein or vegatables for vitamins like the B family of vitamins. Take more time at home to just relax.
This could also be from using your computer a lot also, I got the same system in my left arm from using my mouse a lot either online or playing games like Diablo, take a break from using the computer for more than an hour a day just for a week and see if that helps, I did and now I use it like I used to but the pain never returned because I gave it a rest for that week. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

Stay away from american cars. Need I say more?

nope, not at all. Did she lie or you never asked her age?

She is probably willing to do more than that, but I don't think you would want a girl like that....

Nope, go see a doctor if it happens a lot.

Steer away from trouble, you have enough problems as it is.

You life does not suck. It just that things aren't going your way. Give it some time and work towards it and eventually everything will fall in place.

hehe I stumbled across that place when I was doing some research about Parhump, Nevada.
I didn't know prostitution could be legal in the US, but according to this faq at http://www.sexuality.org/l/workers/chickran.html (sorry I forgot how to include links with titles on them)
it is legal in that area and certain NV counties!

I never asked her age, and I rarely ask a girl her age. It's not something that's important to me. Anyway, I also found out through my friend's brother that the girl is not only 14, but she just began 9th grade this year. Wow, that really wouldn't have looked good: a 19-year-old high school graduate courting a 14-year-old 9th grader. Although that's not as bad as the time my other friend dated a sixth grader when he was a sophmore. Sick.

Wow, someone I can relate to. We both fall under the "absolutely nothing goes my way" category. (People who get their way sometimes wouldn't understand how it feels ;P)

It's nice to know that there are other people out there like me. I don't feel so alone anymore.

That will really fuck you up. I've had a mild caffeine overdose and let me tell you, there is absolutely no good feeling associated with it. I dunno if it's really that dangerous, though.
