I'm so happy about this. I hate my current job so damn much, and on the way to work, I see Tux the Penguin staring out at me from an unfurnished building. YES. I'm going to apply for that job even before the place opens up. ANY position would do.

I'm going to brush up on my Linux skills....I wonder if "running a Gentoo Linux distro built from a stage 1 tarball as my main desktop system" would qualify as a good amount of experience...

Hell, I'll even become a fucking salesman if need be. I'll stand at the register. I don't care. It's not my current job of working at a supermarket.

The funny thing is that our tiny town doesn't even have a mainstream computer store in it, or even a normal grocery store, and we're getting a Linux shop. I'm so pumped.

oh lord...even if i you're only washing their floors, i'd take the job. i worked at a supermarket all through high school, and they were some of the worst times of my life.

I'd take the job even if it was an apple store. I don't care what OS it is. It's a computer job that's a five minute walk away from my house. <img src=smilies/upeyes.gif>
