met this great woman last night...very pretty, smart and she's a Good Girl (tm). supposed to met her tonight.

woke up, went to clean my glasses...and snap. broke them in half.

used my sunglasses to drive to my parents house to use the super glue. didn't hold. tried to solder them...couldn't do it. used epoxy and it's been tacky for 2 hours.

it's approaching the deadline. i'm SO MAD. i'm killing someone if i miss this <img src=smilies/2gunsfiring_v1.gif>

If you got her phone # then call her and tell her what happened, maybe she can pick you up. You could take a cab if she's that important. Whatever you do be honest, and bring the glasses if you have to, if she's a good girl she'll understand cause shit happens to everyone. Get some contacts already man. Even if you prefer glasses, they're still good for backups or for sports/activities.

I don't know anyone that wears glasses that doesn't have a backup pair. You don't have any old pair of glasses lying around somewhere?

I were glasses but I don't have a back up pair. Just my old ones that I can hardly see out of now, but I guess those are better than nothing.
