I was wondering if anyone else watched it...much better than last year. NEW Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, GOLDEN SUN DS, and amazingly a new Metroid developed between Nintendo and Team Ninja (?!).

What do you all think? I'm certainly looking forward to this stuff. Biggest suprises for me were Golden Sun DS, followed by Metroid, and then Super Mario Galaxy 2 (I did NOT expect that...NEW SMB I kind of did, but there was no indication of the other one). Should be fun...Super Mario Galaxy is absolutely amazing. Easily among the best games I've played in years.

I'm excited about the two Mario games, that's abut it. When they were about to reveal Golden Sun DS... I was thinking it wold be a new BoF game.... I was saddened that it wasn't.

Ahahaha...I thought I was the only one who occasionally wondered what happened to Intellivision Lives! for the DS.

Both New Super Mario Bros Wii and Mario Galaxy 2 have Yoshi in it so I'm happy (there's an IGN video interview with Reggie which has a NSMB video in the background). There was a lot of bad stuff in the conference though like: Cammie talking (yawn), Vitality sensor (why?), casual stuff (no-one wanted to see that dressing game), and possibly more.

Oh god, that dressing game. But yeah...I was so pissed at seeing that, then METROID. They must have done that on purpose.

well originally the game wasn't as successful as hoped. so the third game that was in planing at the time was canceled. that and I heard something about the team being disbanded.

So far as I know Camelot has been around all this time.

I believe they didn't show any Pokemon games because the Gold/Silver remake are probably still being made.
