About time someone cool won Time's top 100 influencial people. The winner is moot the founder of 4chan. :)
Here's the article.

You know...that makes a good point. Anon can be influential when it wants to be. It's strange to think about it, but think of all the things that have come out of 4chan (for example the lolcats) that are just incredibly well known to a lot of people on the internets.

Or, it's just the fact that 4chan completely hacked the poll.

I did think of that, but 4chan as the most influential is still a pretty interesting idea, and not one without any merit either.

Heh, news is out all over the web about the hack (http://news.google.com/news?um=1&ned=us&hl=en&q=time+4chan+hack), but rather than even attempting to go back and fix the problem, Time has apparently decided to cut its losses and not even acknowledge it, other than a lame "uh yeah, we meant to have um, what may or may not be a stuffed poll. That was the whole point of the endeavor! Yeah... that's the ticket..."
"I would remind anyone who doubts the results that this is an Internet poll," he says. "Doubting the results is kind of the point."
