It's the worst time of the year.

* Everyone's going to the store that I work at to buy shit for the holiday season, making me work really fucking hard out in the cold. Go home, or buy your shit somewhere else.

* Snow makes driving suck. We haven't had any so far, but when it comes, my car is barely prepared for it. My Camaro is one of those cars that doesn't handle snow very well, even with studded snow tires and sandbags in the trunk.

*It makes my house really cold if we don't pay attention to our pellet stove. If it's not up high enough, it won't come on, and it gets fucking cold in here. Just because we want to conserve energy by not using the heater, so we're using the stove. Bah.

*Just being outside period sucks. I can wear a shirt, sweatshirt, and coat, and the cold STILL finds a way to fuck with me. Something as simple as walking from class to class turns into a freezing hell when winter's involved. And I can't drive across campus, because 100% of the parking spaces are taken.

I hate the cold. I'd rather be too hot than too cold. Fuck you, winter.

I like winter. My PC gets too hot in summer. Christmas and my birthday are in winter too.

You should move here to northern Minnesota where we haven't had a winter in 6 years...oddly. Though, to counteract that, the frost went 6 feet deep last year. Ouch, we paid for it. Still paying for it.... Lack of snow + cold (0 degrees F, which is not nearly as bad as it can get) for 4 months will do that. Winter sucks only when the snow doesn't arrive. The snow did arrive, finally, in MARCH! Too late though, every septic tank 30 miles south of here and as far north as you can go went through frozen hell last year.

As someone who works outside at a job in South Louisiana, I love the fuck out of winter.

It gets so disgustingly fucking hot in the summer, that winter is quite enjoyable.

For example, today I'm wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt to work, and it's 80 degrees.

Around January when it gets the coldest, it'll get arond 30-40 degrees. But that's it.

I love winter.

It's not too bad. Give it a chance, it will grow on you faster than mold on a Dunkin' Donut. But I agree that winter driving sucks. Even with a Blazer, it isn't fun. I will go on record and say that winter driving sucks...and it sucks hard. But building snow forts and having snow ball fights, that stuff just rules. You can't do that in summer. Everything melts by then.
