.......on where I might be able to download an editor for Final Fantasy 3/6, so I can edit the way magic works. For example: I would like to replace the spell graphics of Merton with the spell graphics of Flare Star. I know that this game is old, but I can't find any kind of editor that will let me do this. I have been re-creating Final Fantasy 3/6, so it kind of takes place after Final Fantasy 2/4. Anyways.........could anyone tell me where I might be able to find a Magic Graphics Editor???

Do you think you could help me out? I recently just got into hacking Final Fantasy 3, and I'm not sure if there are any editors out there to edit the magic graphics used during battle.

I know there are a few editors out there, but I don't think there are ones that specifically edit the magic graphics. You might just have to do good ol' tile editing for that one.

Would you happen to know of any that let's me edit the tiles used for magic? I don't know of any, besides the Sprite tile editors.

It's the same thing. It's just another layer on top of the sprites. Sometimes people have to do things the long way...I've never used a level editor to make anything...although all of my hacks involve penises in some way or another.

If you're editing from the SNES version, vSNES let's you open up a part of the game from a save-state. It's complete with a hex editor, tile editor, and everything.

...But it seems that maybe I may have been wrong about what I wanted to do. Is there any Gameshar codes, or Action Replay Codes, that can replace the Lore spells with the regular in-game magic spells??? If I could get a hold of that code, then I could replace Meron with Flare Star. Or I could replace Ultima with Goner. But I don't know where I can get this code. If I knew how to create such a code, I would do it. But, I know I can Change Strago's Lore's, to spells that can only be used by monsters. Once I make those changes, I could swap the Lore Spells with the regular magic spells, and all my problems would be solved.....Someone please help me......

And we're definitely not gonna hack the game for you. I mean, we can provide answers to questions..but I personally am too busy sticking naughty language into my own games to do it for ya.
