This game kicks ass! However, I HATE THE SECOND LIGHTNING TRACK IN EMERALD CUP WITH THE PASSION OF THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF SUNS. I can NOT beat that level at all yet :( <img src=smilies/cry.gif>

Which vehicle are you using? I've never had a problem with it.

I always use Fire Stingray. I think it's just me though, I've been reading some FAQs and pretty much all of them say that it's the most difficult track in Grand Prix

ah, brings back memories of the original F-Zero on the SNES. man, that game rocked back then... the speed! the thrills! Mode 7!
those were the days. i'm tempted to stop sounding like an old man here and just go and dust the thing off

Yeah, I loved that game, it was a lot of fun. I usually played the Red Stingray, since it was fast and had good handling. Having read the manual before playing the game, there were two things I was slightly disappointed by: the tracks didn't have slopes, which one drawing in the manual showed, and the city tiles didn't scroll at a slower rate than the tracks, so they didn't seem to be any lower than the tracks. But those are just minor complaints; it was a great game.

If my SNES was working, I'd hook it up. I'll have to settle for playing it on my N64......now I wanna play it again.
