So I get up 5pm. The guys all get over here and we discuss the possibility of starting the LAN party tonight instead of the usual Saturday night. Plans fall through cuz some guys have to work in the morning, plus if we drive to our LAN headquarters at our friend's house 15 miles away, only 6 PCs will end up being networked there tonight and we have more than that networked here at home already.

18-pack of beer on sale. I purchase cuz I've been good all week.

We will watch our "Shocktoberfest" movie tonight as usual - Every night in October we watch a horrorish movie.

Having fun learning the tracker program ftp://johndietzel:%6c%69%6e%6b@johndietzel.netfirms.com/www/music/synth%20test.mp3synth test (http://psycle.pastnotecut.org/portal.php>Psycle</a>.

track I started with it last night:

Should be a fun weekend. It's getting cold here in UT.

We are experiencing an odd heat wave right now. It was 21 degrees F three days ago, and we hit 75 F for the third (but final day.) Forecasts show us at 50 F tomorrow.

I'm currently watching the NLCS and it's turning out to be a great game. Bottom of the 11th, Cubs are up 5-4, Marlins only have 3 outs left. Tomorrow I'm gonna watch the Red Sox pound the hell out of the Twin killing Yankees.

Through the rest of the weekend I'll be coding my C++ project. I'm hoping some people here at ZD will like it. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif> (Don't have screens yet, not far enough into it for screens.)

I just wrote a letter to my bud who's in basic training right now, he's in Texas. I received word that a friend of mine in San Jose is going to school in Utah, and it sounds like he's enjoying it.

All in all, pretty good day.

I stared at a GBA screen for 5 hours. Playing Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lupis.

I'm still recovering from the shitty ass headache that resulted.

I just made a fashion collage on a mirror. Hmm, it's 4:30 in the morning. I guess it's not even Friday anymore. But when I look into the mirror naked, I see gorgeous fashion pics torn out of magazines, and bits and pieces of my skin reflected in between pictures. It's ornamental and bare at the same time. I'd say this was a night well spent.

Oh, and School of Rock was funny.

> mine is just fucking shitty

I know the feeling.

My best friend ditched me in order to spend time with his bitch girlfriend, who he spends time with every other day of the fucking week. Why not make at least a little time for your friends? What an insipid little fuck he is! Which means that I spend yet another Friday at home watching stand-up on Comedy Central.

Comedy Central is great. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

Hanging with his girl is only a problem is she truly is the bitch you claim to be.

I saw Kill Bill, which btw fucking kicked ass.

Got my friend to agree to teach me to play guitar. Lessons start Sunday.

Spent about 3 hours working on the mixing of my robot song.

Posted on diaries @ zmd. =P

That's cool. guitar playing rocks. I've never had formal training but i've had my mentors, including my friend Jensen and my father.

We ended up watching The Count Of Monte Cristo, after our Shocktoberfest.

Why is it, themes of vengence strike a chord so hard in all of us? I know it does me.

I got off of work, went to the bank, went and ordered my glasses frames from a store, drove to Marie Callenders to have dinner with (what I thought was just supposed to be) Grandma, her husband, dad and Jo Ann. Alex and I got there... there was Grandma, her husband, about 10 of her new relatives that I didnt know, and no dad or Jo Ann. Turned out it was a surprise dinner thing for Grandma and one of her new relatives. Interesting. Dad and Jo Ann showed up in a bit... as well as Ron, Connie and Ryan. Alex and I just chatted with Ron the whole time (good times). After that we went to a friend's bday costume party... costumeless (but we didnt care). I had one drink (soco + dr pepper, which was pretty good actually), and sat on the couch being totally bored. there wasnt much booze, and the "party" was filled with a bunch of people I didnt know... and they were all weird mexican girl clique-ish. Alex and I left after being there a couple hours. meh. after that i found out that my ex sent me a package of photos which he was supposed to, but he took out all the photos and negatives of my cat which he never wanted in the first place, but decided to take from me when we got divorced. what the fuck ever. all in all, a very social and yet uncomfortable night.

Man, I hate being out numbered in those merged family situations. Even once dad and jo ann got there, you were still ganged up on.

I think we lost grandma to some religious old dude. Since when was grandma into that?

yo, i should have been there for you gurl. I try so hard but I have let you down. Soon as I get my posse up outta this crib, I'mo be there for you like never before. We will have all the booze at the parties and we can outnumber grandma's husband's family and sheeit.

I dont even know who that is http://www.zophar.net/wwwthreads/smilies/erm.gif . the glasses are http://www.noblelook.com/catalog/images/Gucci_1180_MH9.jpgthese</a>, except they're completely clear plastic. essentially, they're like what I have now, only the lenses are a little big bigger, more rectangular, and the plastic is clear.

yeah really. talk about awkward. At least I was at one side of the table, and they were at the other (i had to reserve two seats for dad and jo ann, of course... so I had to sit far away. yeah, that's it).

> I think we lost grandma to some religious old dude. Since

i dunno. grandma actually met him at church... she was going pretty regularly. she just loved grandpa so much that it didnt matter so much whether she went or not before... not as much as he mattered, that is. she still talks about him exactly the same, btw. it's sweet. you should see her though, john. i actually saw grandma giggle. GIGGLE! She has her little laugh, but this was a full on giggle in resonse to something her new husband said. it was adorable.

> word.

exactly. ron's fuckin' good times. they asked about you, btw.

For real! I sent him a pleasant email <img src=smilies/flipa.gif>
