need some help

i just got done at the hacks section, i downloaded a few snes hacks.
i noticed they were all titled patches.
not knowing too much about hacked games, i tried to run them in zSNES (they showed up in the list of games), but none of them work
what do i have to do to make them run?

you need the original rom (can't tell you where)
then download a patcher program like ipsxp or somehting
use the patcher to patch the rom

Since you said you are using ZSNES, I'll add this: ZSNES has an auto-patching function. If the patch file has an .ips extension, then simply having it in the same directory as the ROM file and renaming it so that the patch file and the ROM file match is all that is required. No patcher program necessary.

If you've changed the default save directory, IIRC you need to put the patch where your saves are. If you haven't though, just ignore this.
